Carlos started dancing intensively in 1996, among the first dances, which he found love for, belonged Brazilian Funk, Samba de Gafiera, Bolero and the swinging Foxtrot. After many dance performances and experiences, he decided to expand his repertoire also with salsa and bachata. He had an opportunity to move to the Czech Republic and introduce Brazilian culture here in Prague in 2005. Together with Sofie Toris he opened the first ever Brazilian dance studio and began teaching Zouk, Samba de Gafiera, Carnival Samba, Salsa, Bolero, Tango and many other dynamic and passionate Brazilian dances. Since 2010, he organizes the Prague Zouk Congress that is attended by more and more fans of Brazilian culture from around the world annually. Each year, more than 600 dance enthusiasts dedicate the whole week to Zouk and Samba. He opened a new dance studio, which was attended by more than 150 returning students in 2012. To maintain the highest quality, he employed three dance assistants. In addition to teaching in his own studio he travels to affiliated dance congresses around the world as a teacher and performer. He visits approx. 14 world dance congresses each year and was given an opportunity to participate in a worldwide tour with Brazouka at the beginning of 2014. He finished the tour in December 2014. Fernanda da Silva was born in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil where she started to learn Brazilian Samba and Forró. Passionate about dance, Fernanda went into a dance academy to learn other styles such as Zouk, Samba de Gafieira, Bolero, Salsa and Swinging Foxtrot. Later she received an offer to work in the Czech Republic in a Brazilian dance group (Brasil Show), which performed and participated in the television contest “Česko Slovensko má Talent”. Fernanda is sought after as an accomplished and renowned dance teacher, performer and choreographer. With her dance partner Carlos da Silva, she has performed at over 40 international dance events and congresses, and performs and teaches each year in countries such as France, Spain, Russia, Egypt, Norway, Monaco, Germany, Brazil. In 2011, Fernanda began to teach at the academy Rio dance studio in Prague (Czech Republic), where she teaches Brazilian dances with her partner and where she lives now. In 2013 she started to help organizing one of biggest congress In Europa "Prague Zouk Congress" with her dance Partner. Now this congress is a tradition for all people from around the world, where PZC Team put together people from Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Russia, Germany, Spain and more, they come to the centre of Prague to be part of this mega event. In 2014 she also had the opportunity to participate in a worldwide tour with Brazouka company.
